Reporting Guidelines

The Easy Wisdom™ asks all the editors, writers, authors & contributors to follow strict reporting protocols to ensure the accuracy of all information reported on the site. Content must be reviewed before being published, studies cited in stories must be scrutinised, and all factual information must be attributed to a reliable source. Editors rely on their experience and on the interviews with expert sources to substantiate all articles, and each story is reviewed and fact-checked before being published on site. Articles are then regularly reviewed and updated to include the newest information available on the topic.

Editorial Independence

The Easy Wisdom receives support from advertisers for displaying their advertisements. However, all content is produced independently. Any content produced in conjunction with an advertiser, or sponsor or paid for by an advertiser, is clearly marked as such on the site.

Affiliate Disclosure

The Easy Wisdom sometimes may participate in affiliate marketing programs —meaning that purchases made by readers who visit our site and then go to retailers and products recommended by our editors may result in paid commissions. The products we feature are always chosen by editors based on brand standards. We only ever recommend products to you that we truly love and believe in. Such suggestions are always driven by editorial standards, not by affiliate deals or advertising relationships.

Content Guidelines

Our sole purpose in publishing guest posts is to help bloggers to increase their visibility among our audience and give them a platform to showcase their work. The Easy Wisdom Media owns the right to accept, deny or delete your post from the website at any time without any prior notice.  We do not accept content that is non-aligned with the easy wisdom values, vision, mission, goals and guidelines.

  • Sexually abusive, racists, derogatory, sensitive, personal political views, and anti-nationalists content or any content that may harm our readers directly or indirectly are strictly prohibited. 
  • Articles must not support/promote any drug or drug-related products, tobacco products, and alcohol consumption.
  • Articles must not contain adult content or pornography.
  • The content must not discriminate against practices of any religion, caste, creed, or sex.
  • Articles must not promote the sale or use of weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
  • Your submissions must not promote real money gambling, including casinos, bingo, poker, etc.
  • Articles must not contain controversial content, including topics like politics, religion, war, country, etc for commercial purposes.
  • The content must not redirect people to non-operational landing pages. Landing pages content that interferes with a person’s ability to navigate away from the original pages, is a strict no. 

General Content Guidelines

  • Unique content: your content should be unique and should stand out. It should be engaging enough to draw the reader’s attention.
  • Non plagiarized content: your content shall be your original work and not copied from anywhere else. Plagiarized content will lead to the immediate deletion of your content. Also, you will be blocked permanently from our website. 
  • Quality content: your content should be of good quality in terms of English grammar, language, and structured thoughts. 
  • Unique value: your content should offer some unique value to its readers in the form of key takeaways and learning. Your content should solve our reader’s problems or resolve their dilemma. 
  • Structured flow: your content should follow a proper structure with an introduction, main body and conclusion. It means your article should have a proper format, a logical flow and should be well articulated. It must be easily readable with relevant headings, sub-headings, and sources. If your post exceeds 2500 words, consider breaking up your article into several series and float the idea to us. We would love to publish your series one after the other. 
  • Good topic: your topic should be well researched, and insightful for us to consider for posting. Make sure to include all the references and links in your content. 
  • Length of the article: Your post should be a minimum of 1000 words. But we prefer articles with a minimum of 1500 words. We respect quality over quantity, and therefore, you should try to cover all possible aspects of the topic in question to educate our readers sufficiently. 
  • Images: Use licensed, royalty-free or copyright-free images which depict your topic aptly. The image chosen should be high-resolution, social media-friendly and of ideal size.  
  • Links: We do not have any problem to include links in your guest blog, but all the links should be relevant, from a secure source, and shall not link to third-party businesses. We do not accept affiliate or promotional links until proper permission is taken from the editor-in-chief. Do not stuff your post with too many links. In such a case we may remove some of them at our discretion. For security reasons, we do not include spammy, unreliable sources, or links without HTTPS.
  • Editing: Our editors use their best judgement to make every post informative, SEO friendly, engaging, meaningful and readable. They may edit your posts for spellings, punctuation, and grammatical errors. Our editors may also edit some parts of your content, including the title, introductions, main body or conclusions of your post. We also add relevant headings or sub-headings, images, video and infographics to make the article more readable and engaging. 

Ownership of Content

Once your post is published on our blog, you give us the right to own your content. It means you cannot reuse the same content anywhere else like your own personal blog or any other third-party website.
